As I type, my stomach is in knots.  I am preparing to speak to my biggest audience EVER…2,500 people! (If you’re reading this on Monday morning, I’m speaking to them right now!)

I’ve come to the realization that a little fear can be a good thing.  After all, if you’re not uncomfortable, you’re not getting better.

Fear can be a very powerful motivator.  What have you wanted to try but have procrastinated doing because you’re afraid?  What is something that you can do, personally or professionally, that would take you to the next level?

Your assignment this week, should you choose to accept it, is to identify something that you’ve wanted to accomplish but that you’ve held back because of fear.  Then, take one step toward reaching that goal.

As Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.”

  1. You go girl…..! It is Monday and you have captivated your audience and they are really taking in the message you brought to them. They will applaud loudly and probably give you a standing ovation when you finish.
Thank you for all you do…..!

  2. Anne,

I am sure you will “blow them away” with that “Anne Grady Special” because you share a little bit of yourself with such honesty. That is looking fear in the face. You are just “Awesome Anne.” One of your biggest fans, Kay
