Are you guilty of comparing yourself and your success to others? (That means just about EVERYONE).  If so, stop what you’re doing, print this picture, and paste it to your monitor, phone, mirror, refrigerator, car, and anywhere else you might need the reminder. YOU are awesome…JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!

Remember, you act like the kind of person you think you are.  If you don’t feel awesome, you certainly won’t act it.  While there’s something to be said for “faking it until you make it”, it’s better to learn how to genuinely like yourself.  Yes, that’s right, you can LEARN how to like yourself, feel more confident, and be happier in general.

Pimples, dimples, and wrinkles? We’ve all got them.  Self-doubt, neuroticism, and insecurity?  Yup, we’ve all got that too.  It doesn’t change your incredible awesomeness!

  1. Thank you for this message. I posted the picture on top of my computer. I certainly needed this today as it was a very difficult weekend, and I certainly don’t feel awesome.

  2. Thank you for this picture and the message attached. I am feeling very over whelmed with work duties and don’t feel awesome but, seeing this picture and reading the information attached sure helps.

    • Hi Connie,

Keep your chin up and be careful what you tell yourself (i.e., I’m overwhelmed). Remember, we find what we look for. Change that message to something like, “all I can do is all I can do” or “strive for progress not perfection”, etc. Don’t forget to celebrate your successes every day 🙂

  3. This is just what I needed. After a short break , I have to plunge right back into it all. I,m printing this right now. Thanks for reminding us all,Jo

  4. Image Chef has an iphone app called I am Awesome. You type in your name (or someone else) and it will scroll through scenes that remind you that you’re awesome. You’ll see your name in lights, on a bill board, on a #1 button, etc. Its silly and fun to do when you need a pick me up. Give it a try!
