You know what they say about plumbers…they’re the first ones to have leaky pipes!

When we were having the house painted…and re-painted, I asked the guys if their houses were perfectly painted all the time.  They all laughed and said their wives have been nagging them to finally get around to painting their own homes.

Let’s face it, we have a tendency to respond to everyone else’s needs before our own.  I spend most of my time working on building other people’s businesses, so I finally gave myself the time and attention I give my clients.  I’m thrilled to announce (drum roll) the launch of my new website!  Please take a few minutes to check out the new site and let me know what you think!

It’s easy to get caught up in taking care of all of the people in our life.  We focus on their projects, priorities, and needs because we want to and because we care.  Just don’t lose sight of your own priorities, projects, and needs.  You’re important too!

A huge thank you to Richard Dietz, president of Go Website Solutions and Jenny Magic, founder and CEO of Better Way To Say It for all of their time, patience, and expertise in developing the new site.

Don’t forget to check out the new site, leave a comment and share your feedback!

  1. Hey Anne,

Thanks for the shout out and especially the reminder… I am very guilty of not taking care of my own house (ie. webstie). I guess now I have to go and re-do my sites 😉

Thanks again for the reminder, the timing was perfect.

    Richard

  2. WOW! Yesterday I was analyzing my life and realized that very same point. I keep taking care of everyone around me making sure I can give all the help I can possibly can then realized that I have neglected to take care of myself. Nobody will do the things we have to do for us and the first step is to take care of ourselves and our own business. Thank you Anne!

  3. Anne, great new web site! You are always an inspiration to me! One little suggestion for your web site: when you get a chance you might add some snapshots (actual photos) or customer snapshots (brief statement) about how your services have helped them on your page about your services.

  4. Anne,
What a terrific reminder! After a 24 year marriage that included raising 3 sons, and 6 years of a tumulteous post-divorce, I finally gave myself permission to “enjoy” a little of life! I booked a vacation to Cozumel on Friday and I am looking forward to pampering MYSELF and seeing to my needs! LOVE the new website and have already shared it with others! Thanks for your positive influence in my life!
